RETURN POLICY

Your invoice is Proof of Purchase, which must be kept for record in the event of a warranty claim or a return. By placing an order with SafeLeaf.ca, you specify that you have read and agree to the following return policy agreement. Returns must meet all criteria.

SafeLeaf.ca does not accept returns on glassware, perishable items or special order items. SafeLeaf.ca in its discretion will be the sole determiner of whether a product is defective.

From day of delivery, confirmed by provided tracking number, buyer has 48 hours to check and inspect the package. Any missing pieces must be reported within 48 hours post-delivery, otherwise SafeLeaf.ca will not be held responsible. If anything is missing, please email us at [email protected]

Buyers have 7 business days from the date shipment was delivered to generate a valid return merchandise authorization (RMA) number with SafeLeaf.ca, and return the goods to the possession of SafeLeaf.ca. If the item is returned during this time frame, SafeLeaf.ca will only offer in-store credit as refund. For products verified to be defective, SafeLeaf.ca will supply a prepaid shipping label along with an RMA number.

For non-defective products, a 20% restocking fee will apply and buyer is responsible for cost of return shipment. For products verified to be defective, SafeLeaf.ca will be responsible for return shipment, and shipment of replacement parts.

Products should be returned unused and in original condition as received which includes all accessories, manuals, manufacturer’s crate/boxes, packing materials, etc. Received returns that have been used or with missing components and or modifications will be rejected for credit approval and returned to Buyer at their cost. Buyer is responsible to ensure adequate packaging on all return shipments. If shipment is damaged in transit to SafeLeaf.ca, the buyer will be responsible for loss of any non-defective items.

If defects found are not at fault of SafeLeaf.ca, warranty repair will be quoted and authorized by the buyer. The unit will be repaired and shipped back to the customer within 30 days from the time of customer authorization and payment.

*Freight shipping charges for work not performed under warranty are the customer’s liability and will be provided in the warranty repair work statement.

The unit will be considered “abandoned” after 45 days following notification of repair options and may be re-purposed or discarded.

All warranties are void on equipment that is used with power converters, or when they come standard as 110/120V power and are used outside the US or Canada, no exceptions. All warranties are also void if unit is plugged into the wrong outlet and equipment trips circuitry. Owning a power converter does not imply it can be used to handle loads necessary to operate these electronics safely. Please inquire with SafeLeaf.ca prior to purchase for approval of the use of any converters.

All stainless steel parts purchased separately to put together a Closed Loop system DO NOT come with a standard warranty, technical help, or a tested system guarantee. The User assumes all liability and risks of the system. SafeLeaf.ca is not responsible for any damages or loss incurred to the buyer.
